Yesterday we heard word that a 6th lien had been filed now totally over $20,000, meaning yet another 30 days from today (if the lawyers file the paperwork today). Unless these liens are going to be paid off by the builder or the homeowner (highly unlikely), we will be forced to move on and walk away from the $2200 we will lose in the process. Ugh! So, today and tomorrow we are hitting the streets to look for a new home. If you have a suggestion for us (like in France) please send them our way! Wish us luck!
Oh, there is good news. I avoided a black cat last night during my run. Sorry, I have to see good signs wherever I can! Ha!

Keberkatan surah al-ikhlas Ketika Memulakan Kerja Nota
Bacalah ayat ini sebelum anda memulakan apa-apa saja kerja ker ana dengan bacaan ini akan keluarlah iblis dan syaitan yang berada didalam tubuh kita dan juga di sekeliling kita, mereka akan berlari keluar umpama cacing kep ana san.
Sebelum Masuk Ke Rumah
Sebelum anda masuk rumah, bacalah surah Al-Ikhlas (sebanyak 3 kali. Masuklah rumah dengan kaki k ana n dan dengan membaca bismillah. Berilah salam kepada anggota rumah dan sekiranya tiada orang di rumah berilah salam ker ana malaikat rumah akan menyahut.
Amalkanlah bersolat ker ana salam pertama (ianya wajib) yang diucapkan pada akhir solat akan membantu kita menjawab persoalan kubur. Apabila malaikat memberi salam, seorang yang jarang bersolat akan sukar menjawab salam tersebut. Tetapi bagi mereka yang kerap bersolat, amalan daripada salam yang diucap di akhir solat akan menolongnya menjawab salam malaikat itu.
Ketika Sakit
S abd a Rasulullah S.A.W yang bermaksud: Barangsiapa membaca surah Al-Ikhlas sewaktu sakit sehingga dia meninggal dunia, maka dia tidak akan membusuk di dalam kuburnya, akan selamat dia dari kesempitan kuburnya dan para malaikat akan membawanya dengan sayap mereka melintasi titian siratul mustaqim lalu menuju ke syurga. Demikian diterangkan dalam Tadzikaratul Qurthuby).
Khatam al-Quran
Rasulullah SAW pernah bertanya sebuah teka-teki kepada umatnya: Siapakah antara kamu yang dapat khatam Qur'an dalam jangka masa dua-tiga minit? Tiada seorang dari sahabatnya yang menjawab. Malah Saiyidina Ummar telah mengatakan bahawa ianya mustahil untuk mengatam Qur'an dalam begitu cepat.
Kemudiannya Saiyyidina Ali mengangkat tangannya.. Saiyidina Ummar bersuara kepada Saiyidina Ali bahawa Saiyidina Ali (yang sedang kecil pada waktu itu) tidak tahu apa yang dikatakannya itu. Lantas Saiyidina Ali membaca surah Al-Ikhlas tiga kali. Rasulullah SAW menjawab dengan mengatakan bahawa Saiyidina Ali betul.
Membaca surah Al-Ikhlas sekali ganjarannya sama dengan
membaca 10 jus kitab Al-Quran. Lalu dengan membaca surah Al-Ikhlas sebanyak tiga kali qatamlah Quran ker ana ianya sama dengan membaca 30 jus Al-Quran.
Pahala Membacanya
Berkata Ibnu Abbas r.a. bahawa Rasulullah SAW telah bers abd a: Ketika saya (Rasulullah SAW) israk ke langit, maka saya telah melihat Arasy di atas 360,000 sendi dan jarak jauh antara satu sendi ke satu sendi ialah 300,000 tahun perjal ana n. Pada tiap-tiap sendi itu terdapat padang sahara sebanyak 12,000 dan luasnya setiap satu padang Sahara itu seluas dari timur hingga ke barat.
Pada setiap padang sahara itu terdapat 80,000 malaikat yang m ana kesemuanya membaca surah Al-Ikhlas. Setelah mereka selesai membaca surah tersebut maka berkata mereka: Wahai Tuhan kami, sesungguhnya pahala dari bacaan kami ini kami berikan kepada orang yang membaca surah Al-Ikhlas baik ianya lelaki mahupun perempuan.
S abd a Rasulullah SAW lagi: Demi Allah yang jiwaku ditanganNya, sesungguhnya Qul Huwallahu Ahadu itu tertulis di sayap malaikat Jibrail a.s, Allahhus Somad itu tertulis di sayap malaikat Mikail a.s, Lamyalid walam yuulad tertulis pada sayap malaikat Izrail a.s, Walam yakullahu kufuwan ahadu tertulis pada sayap malaikat Israfil a.s.
Jika sekiranya kawan-kawan ingin mengumpul saham akhirat, sampaikanlah ilmu ini kepada kawan2 yang lain. Sepertim ana s abd a Rasulullah SAW: 'Sampaikanlah pes ana nku walaupun satu ayat'. Sesungguhnya apabila matinya seseorang ana k Adam itu, hanya 3 perkara yang akan dibawanya bersama: (1) Sedekah/amal jariahnya, (2) Doa ana k- ana knya yang soleh dan (3) Ilmu yang bermanfaat yang disampaikannya kepada orang lain.

We don't know! Seriously...we are getting so tired of the not knowing it is making our hair fall out.
I don't know where any of our stuff is. I am having to buy the kids more clothes since I only packed them clothes for a week when I packed their things AND I can not find their clothes in the garage. We had the best intentions to organize the stuff in the garage when we moved, but due to lack of time it just did not happen. So, I went shopping today and picked up a few things for the kids. Chris and I will continue to wear the only 5 things we have in our possession, however. Nice! I will never wear these clothes again! I am all for surprises. However, it would have been nice to know we were going to be without our things for so long so we could have packed accordingly.
Chris and I have been looking at other homes. On Friday, we found one home we liked, but it had 2 things wrong with it. First of all, it backed to many neighbors. Second of all, it turned out to be a short sale and it said to allow 8 weeks to hear back from the offer. In a short sale, the seller owes more than the home is being listed at. Therefore, both the seller and the bank have to approve an offer. If you watch HGTV, some people wait MONTHS to hear back from the bank. With all of that said, we decided that it would be 3rd on the list at least. So, Friday we will head back out to take a look at some of the homes we looked at the first time to see which home we will offer on first, if need be. Our poor real estate agent!
Chris and I are trying to be patient. First of all, all of our stuff is in the 4 car garage of the home we have a contract with. It would be way easier to move it right into the house than to move to another home. We will lose money if we walk away from it too. It will come out to $1100. We should get our deposit back because the reason we would walk is because of the liens on the home.
We will give it a month to see how things pan out here. If the seller does not see anything clearing up, we will be forced to move forward on another home. Our hope: to be in our new home, wherever it shall be, by Christmas!
In the meantime, we will sit, impatiently, in the apartment on air mattresses where we share everything, including colds. I will not lie, the living situation is not pleasant. We have minimal toys for the kids, we do not have any furniture, and nobody is sleeping. Additionally, Chris hates scraping his car at 5 AM every morning, and I am dreading it when it snows!
Oh, better go. Time to go night night on the air mattress! WAHHHOOO! At least we will appreciate our home and our beds once we get into a home and crawl into bed.
I haven't been managing time really properly. I think at this rate I won't be able to tie up loose ends before I go for the holidays. Spending time away from blogging still doesn't give me the extra time I need.. hehe. I was in KL last 2 weekends and got things to tell about the place we stayed.. but I didn even take any photos. Well.. conclusion --- I still can't shop at Jalan TAR. It's just too uncomfortable.. and wierd.. plus didn't get much done while we were there. So dun think will go there again.
Last weekend we had to stay home. OH wanted to take us to taiping since the petting zoo entry is basically the waterpark entry and we dun intend to go all out with playing water esp in this kinda weather but I jast can't.. I needed more time.. I need to slow down. Either that or I'm just panicking about my t-20 days to tie up loose ends.. hehe. Knowing myself.. it's most probably the latter.
Weekends.. the usual.. dine out, breakfast at kopitiams. Afya drew faces summore.. she's liking the pen and paper thing even more now that she's able to draw something we can relate to.
Then I get to try out something new last week --- oversized clutch, rhinestones and embelishments. Requested project. Very nice fabric print.. love how it turned out. When can I make one for myself.. tsk tsk tsk...
Oh, I should show you the little fixing I did to make this tall bookshelf toddler proof. When we bought this, we specifically told the sales person (in her native language) that we need them to help us fix it to the wall when it's sent over. But.. the message didn't get through apparently. They didn bring any tools with them *sigh* So, we DIY-ed a bit and make it safe in case that budak kecik intends to climb it when no one's watching (still in the middle of spring cleaning.. mind the coverless couch and I really need to do something with the feature wall.. it's just soo sad...)
