review on Dahlia: Mei's tai

Sorry this has to take some time :D I really have to take time for this..

the Dahlia, In Real Life is very pretty indeed, the colour is very nice (what? my colour Mye, hahahah, no it wasnt! hahahah) and the sewing is very neat. Guess Farid really did a good job.. i've tried wearing Dahlia around the house, boarding the plane, and shopping (indoor,outdoor) and here's what I think about Dahlia

1. Dahlia attract so many eyes, and it convinced most viewers

2. The material is very comfy, for both mummy and baby

3. As the material is too soft, its easily crumple some time. Without good practice, it could be difficult to spread the strap widely sometimes. The strap could be scrunched up so the weight distribution wont goes well.. this might hurt for long hours wearing. And could twist too.. After practicing a while, it should be no problem.

4. The waist pocket doesnt really works for me. And having it make it difficult to tie the strap tightly (as the waist pocket got tied together in the knot, hope u understand this.. errr.. dunno how to explain) It is pretty, and a good feature, but I could not use it. If it is smaller, it might be useful.

5. First I tot the body panel size is big, but it fit Zahraa just nice, and the strap goes nicely under her arms. She could also wiggle herself up to get her hands out (maybe coz of the material, or angle of strap.. dunno )

6. The hood works well, and it did support Zahraa head (50% of the time I carried Zahraa, she slept in it) Even some eyes arent comfy to see her covered all up like that, but i tot she looks comfy in it. I havent use the hidden pocket, still got no idea what to keep inside, its quite difficult to take things out from it.

7. The movable cuffs- that is supposed to hold the long tail of strap - I still dont have the idea how to do this. But of course i use it to hook the hood. It is good that it is movable so I could adjust the hood.. but somehow, sometimes it moved to the back while adjusting the straps. So, it lost somewhere.. hahaha (clumsy me) so I had to reach back looking for it hahaha

8. The material suits our weather.. it is not hot at all, even wearing it 4 hours at Jalan TAR :D

9. It does need adjustment after once in a while

Above all.. I think my Dahlia is a good buy.. wink...love this pretty mei tai :D Thanks Farid
