Well.. again about our trip.. the 1st one for Zahraa. (err balik KL every month not considered trip.. err.. tu balik kampung..) The peak of the trip is the visit to Pekan Rabu ..yeah!!! At first, my husband was reluctant to go, as he does not like shopping or window shopping very much. But when we reached the place, he was so excited!! He fall for Pekan Rabu (and had planned for us to go again in August) I had some stuff for myself... errr.. but nothing for Zahraa... :( kesian.. heheheh (come on, i've bought many of your stuff a day before my dear..)

Ready made Baju kurung and jubah are also cheap here. So does Baju Melayu. Instead of going to Wisma Yakin, maybe this year will get baju raya here.... ( Naa... we dont have life baby here..)

We went to alor star last weekend!! Zahraa's 1st travel and 1st lodging at the hotel!! The wedding was held at Sentosa Regency hotel. It was cousin's wedding..on her husband's side. Its a double wedding. (wedding and sambut menantu as well.. ) Zahraa was excited.. and became a bit cranky when it came to her sleeping time.. but she came out okay, behaving well during the ceremony she attended for the first time.

allergies

Remember Zahraa's allergies when she first started formula 3 weeks ago??? Well, the doctor told us that she has to take soy base formula and so we did tried on Isomil... but after a few days trying, she refuse. The we changed to Mamex Soya, (the only soy base formula with convincing halal logo) but ut was still the same, she refuse it. She only take about 1 oz when she was really desperate. We tried for 2 weeks . pity her crying everyday at the nursery. At the same time, my milk supply is still deteriorating.

I did have an instinct that she might me okay on H.A (hypoallergenic) formula. But still could not have the guts, as they still contain cows milk. Until one day, I asked a parent at my office, whom daughter was also allergic to protein. He said, their baby was reluctant on soy base to, so they gave her Enfalac H.A and she was okay till now. But the thing is, Enfalac HA are difficult to find and is only selling in pharmacies. (dang!!!!) Hmm... my thought straight away goes to NAN HA that i saw earlier.. and my heart says why not try NAN HA first, which is easier to get.

So last Friday we did tried it.. and alhamdulillah.... Allah bless her... she turns to accept this formula, and so far no allergies. she is also pooping well...almost the same as when she's taking BM. Hope she'll be okay, so we dont have to change formula anymore.... and at the same time, mummy promise, will do anything to boost up BM again okay....

I have found out its halal too... hope so..alhamdulillah...

nursery again!!

okay.. let say i am rich.. totally, super rich... and then i hate my job... and then i wanted to spend my time all day with my baby.. but at the same time i need something to do as well... something that i love doing very much (remember, this is after i hate my job).. and then lets say i open up a nursery.. wow.. i'm gonna have fun decorating!!!!

as i love legos very much when i was a kid (its the only toy i have, so i have to played it forever..) so my nursery might look a bit like this ... i thought so ....

My ups and down.. again on my milk supply. i've tried some the stuff suggested.. but still.. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday are the days when its difficult to collect supply... Im trying kurma now.. hope it will be right up again... :(

Sometimes parents are too much.. dressing up and playing their baby on as if they are dolls... not only dressing up, they now has everything done by designers, matching items..... sometimes, I think its a little too much, for too rich babies...

I never had a changing table for my baby. Books i read suggested changing table, friends told me i should have one.. but I never did. Conventional...I just do it on our bed :D .. is that bad? I dont think so.. My baby seems happy lying and facing my face.. hahahahaha

But if i ever did have one.... which one is cool???? Tell me....

I was spending quite some time in Zahraa's nursery lately and i felt like i so.. really .. really want to renovate that nursery. Nothing wrong with it actually, being a typical minimal nursery with cartoons curtain and sheet, colourful floor mat, hanging pictures and ribbons, toy and baby stuff rack etc etc etc. But renovating a nursery would be a fun job for me ... (I did offices and offices and offices.. boring......) And I found some friendly nursery while surfing for my work stuff. And I found great cool modern furniture too....

Tips for modern baby nursery

Nursery 1

Typical.. fun to be in nursery. this nursery make sense...and our normal price furniture could possibly made up this nursery.

Nursery 2

Wall paint plays a big role to the nursery. This nursery uses rare colour, behind norm such as pink and blue and white, something new to try. Loves the carpet, though.

Love that carpet as well

Bright colour combination. Hmm.. seems like some of the stuff in this room need to be replace with other colour to make it more bold. Such as, the lampshade could be in yellow or blue. Or simply paint the whole wall soft yellow (example of course) for a better effect.

Totally love this one!!!! Im gonna make Zahraa's room like this!!! But where could i get that cool chest drawer.. and the baby cot is cool as well.. definitely i'll copy cat that wall.. errrr minus the tv.. think this a hospital ward... what do you think???

It is my husband's 1st fathers day.. so this entry is for Zahrein, my beloved husband and father to our little precious ....

It was all new for him, having a little one. He never had touched a small baby before..even he was not so sure what to expect on the labour day. But he was there with me from the beginning till the end (there was only us, no families at that time) I know he was being brave..I remembered everything changed when the baby at last came.. our life changed, his life changed..

sembang ngan tok wan

He's trying very hard to be a great dad, even he didnt know anything about baby care at first.. but he tried to do what he could. Playing with the baby, reading to the baby, praying with the baby, and take the baby out for a walk. He can't do much to help, as he didnt know ho to ( I know you really wanted to help honey)...but he helped me a lot. He cleaned the house, buy me food (as replacement of baby care I guess). He sacrificed his love for home cook meal and agreed to have outside food..he put my cooking job on hold (poor you my dear) so that I could concentrate on the baby and breast feeding. He drives us to the office, so that i wont be tired driving and so that he could help to bring the baby stuff to the nursery.. (no more 'aku bergondong gondong' okay...) He is trying all hard to gather knowledge, so that he could passed it on to us.

Today, he has been a great father. He loves to play with Zahraa, loves to hold her, volunteers to take care of her.. spend time with her, sing to her... and even ask for a nappy change practice.... :D
