The wind has been so strong in Penang lately.. and many has become sick.. including dear Zahraa and today, its me too. I took Zahraa to Dr Hasanah yestarday, and she seems to be having those rotavirus again. but so far, nothing serious, just some viral infection.. She has been vomiting, diarrhea again, running nose, and now coughing.. poor lil girl... cant sleep well
Of course they can.. and at last my dear husband has his own pouch, fabric from Kamdar and made by Jess@peekaroobaby . I thought i measured right, but it seems a bit loose for him.. maybe next time, whatever the measurement is, it has to be reduced a bit to get a perfect fit. anyway he seems happy to wear Zahraa around now.. and of course this really shows baby bonding is not only for mommy and baby :d
No wonder Sarah and Ziyad loves this place.. any kid would love it, well.. not only those kids.. we the adults love them too! Its our first time taking Zahraa to an indoor playground like this. (Penang tak de, okay.. jakun sungguh) As she is already walking, this is a wonder for her and for us!!! We did really enjoy the day with her.. she play for 3 1/2 hours and doze off right after that.. zzzzzz :D
its a dull morning.. rain just stopped.. and I decided to take Zahraa down, back carrying her :D ...
as a few complain about back pain after back carrying, i erm.. cant say much as Zahraa is a small baby, weighing 7.6 kg only.. I tried back carry with pouch before, ended up with back pain, body ache, and what ever it is.. but with Snugg mt, so far.. havent had any... as I said, maybe Zahraa is small.. or we havent not reach 5 hours yet.. hahahha
And here is how i fold and keep my mei tai :P
Last week, Zahraa took her first 2 step, and 3 step on Sunday and 5 steps today!!! I am sooo happy.. and very excited to get her shoes!!!! hahah she got 2 shoes already, but i got her a new pair of sandal that i lovee so much, it is super light, easy to wear, and the only pair that does not slip off...
I have a different story here.. normally, friends tested mei tai in shopping mall, or on a vacation.. but i tried it in the office (as first time trial).. Yup, I took Zahraa to the office today. the nursery yesterday doesnt work out.. when i went there to picked her up, I could hear she screamed. And she's not taking her milk from them. The blood coming out was.. I think.. hmm never mind I dont want to say.. (just bersangka baik je la..)
zahraa is 10 months yesterday!!! a big girl now huh.. loves to climb, and clap, and eat papers!!! papers are now banned in our house..
yeah i know... seems like a freak.. 3 entries in a row.. hahahahah .. okay, they truth is, it a day after Raya Haji, and almost everyone in the office took extra leave.. I am the only architect available today, and i'm here with 2 other boys, and 3 three trainees.. (and is is DAMN boring..)
TIPS AND TRICKS
- give yourself a BOUNCE! while pulling on your shoulder straps to bring the baby as close to you as possible.
- always wear newborns with the straps tied behind their back or crossed behind their back- NEVER under their butt as this leaves the sides open.
- if your small baby does not like hiding her head while awake, or if your toddler prefers her arms free, shorten the body before tying the waist straps.

this goes way back some time ago.. in July i think.. It was a great event, and a great opportunity for me to meet my best friends.. and these are the works done by mummy shmontel.. it made me smile everytime lookin at it.. i should have post it here earlier... and yup.. i drag Zahraa in this too!!! Going back and forth from Suria KLCC to KLCC with her in baby bjorn.. thank goodness she was just 5 kg that time... :D but it was fun though....
